Narrow and irregular steps in the forest floor. Not necessarily very steep. Halfway up you have a view of the valley. There is also a bench there (to gather strength for the rest).

The “Talbergstäffele” is located in the “Talberg” district, above the federal road 10, at the end of Söllingen in the direction of Berghausen. This hillside area was planted with vines and currant bushes until the 1960s. The "Talbergstäffele" was built many years ago so that the property owners could reach their vineyards and currant plots by the shortest and fastest route. Today there are no more intensively farmed properties with currant bushes or vineyards. The “Talbergstäffele” with its total of 227 steps still exists, however, and it has become a piece of cultural heritage.

It's not really a steep flight of stairs - but it is bizarre to see such a flight of stairs here in the forest. The view halfway up (two benches are there) is worthwhile. Also easy to walk in the winter months.
