The official name given here is the fantastic statue “Ausscheller”. It is a magnificent work of art that has been standing on the west side of the market square since October 30, 2022.

In fact, the monument by the artist Herbet Deiss is a bronze statue of a so-called Ausscheller and is intended to commemorate the police officers who used to read out the local news.
Donations and a grant from the community made it possible to make it at all.
