Another long weekend in Bad Orb... to catch my breath after 3 or 4 professionally quite intensive weeks.
Completely relaxed, completely calm, just easy-going walking. The wonderful spa park, the forest, distant views. A bit familiar and yet new again.

Parked as usual at de Herschkepp (the small parking lot at the Fasanerie bus stop). After a short detour to the bakery in the Komponistenviertel (a treat is simply part of our Saturday tours for me, I largely avoid it on weekdays

2nd day in Bad Orb. The tour was more challenging than planned today... but good. Fitness is important though, many ascents and in between also steep descents, which my knees don't find sooo funny.

2nd day of our long weekend in Bad Orb.
First to the Haselweiher - very idyllic - and to the Haselquelle.
From there a steep and tough ascent. It was needed after the copious breakfast buffet at the hotel 😁.
