In earlier centuries, the area of today's rose garden belonged to the extensive ramparts and fortifications of the city of Kyritz. Today the site is used as a city park.
The landmark is the sculpture “Woge” by the sculptor Fritz Klimsch (1870 to 1960).
On 10/3 is the annual rose garden festival.

It is only a few steps from the old town of Kyritz to a green gem - the rose garden. The small park has been newly designed with a playground, pavilion, rest areas, watercourse, pond, trees, bushes and plants. The landmark is the sculpture "The Wave" by the sculptor Fritz Klimsch.
