50km hiking is like 25, only longer ... ;-)
This year I wanted to take the 50s with me once more, as long as it is still light outside long enough for such routes. Planned, done, originally it was supposed to be 55 from Trebbin via Caputh to Werder, but I wasn't sure about the time and had no nerve to stand in the dark in the middle of the forest afterwards, so I spontaneously rescheduled. The route took me from Trebbin [RB] via Löwendorf, Blankensee, Seddinger See, the Lienewitzseen, the Caputher See via Templiner See / Templiner Vorstadt to Potsdam Hauptbahnhof [S / RB / RE].
Overall, a super varied, beautiful route, I can highly recommend it! The photos & highlights speak for themselves, I save extravagant descriptions at this point.
However, if you don't "have to" hike 50 km, I recommend only walking to Caputh and ending the hike there at km 42 (+/-) - a really great route until then, the way to Lake Caputh But I found the destination to Potsdam a bit monotonous (nice wooded high path, but too long for the same view over and over again).
(In the end, as you can see on the map, I fiddled around a bit - deliberately, however, in order to 'get the 50 km full', of course you don't have to imitate it.) ;-)Now I at least know, I am more fit than ever, ran the 50 km yesterday without a break (apart from 10 minutes at Netto at the cash desk, if you want to call that a break - my cyclist thirst was simply too high at the temperatures big ...), today without any sore muscles or other injuries! Well, the nose is a bit burned, but not surprising in the heat yesterday ;-)
Normally I would have allowed myself at least a break from sitting on such a long distance, but I had no need to do so, and as I said, it is no longer light that long; Sometimes I 'wasted' some time taking photos (especially at Lake Seddiner!) and I preferred to play it safe and walked .. walked .. and walked :-)I was shocked by the immense drying up of the Seddiner See - how long can we all still have unrationed access to drinking water? It won't last forever, I am amazed - again - that the topic of "water scarcity" appears occasionally somewhere, but the government does not seem to see any need for action at the moment.
WellUnfortunately, the km-photo assignments do not match, with the number of pictures I will not insert each one by hand, usually does not work anyway ;-)Conclusion, in a nutshell: Hike from Trebbin-Caputh: Clearly recommended, you can do the rest of the route, but you don't have to ;-)(So I thought I had put together a great, individual route with a lot of effort and then realized that I spent almost the whole day on parts of the 66 lakes hiking trail & the E10 ...) ;-)

True to the motto: "I'll arrive somewhere", today I just started off without a plan and aimlessly, without putting together any tour or even looking at the map beforehand. Only the starting station and the round trip were fixed, because I stayed near S-Lichterfelde Süd for the weekend to sit cats.
So just always go where I liked it! Also nice again :-)
Cherry blossom avenue (currently without flowers), wall path, forest, fields & meadows and a narrow path along the drainage ditch ...
The tour was really nice! Only the route immediately before and after crossing the main road 101 was not so great (stupid always straight on paved paths).I've already walked a similar route here, but I wasn't even aware of that today, so this route seems to be appropriate :-) There weren't that many people on the way, but at the weekend it will look different - especially the Wall Trail section is known to be popular and accordingly well attended, as there are mostly secret paths for pedestrians running parallel here, but you can literally avoid the cyclists quite well. Conclusion: a highly recommended route, from the above apart from a small "minus point".

Run an (almost) identical tour twice within 3 days - why not :-) I'm happy if I don't have to stare at the phone all the time to find my way, and in completely different lighting conditions the world looks completely different; -) In addition, I had to "deliver" the photos after my camera did not work as it should last time ...You can find the description of this round on my tour from the day before yesterday:
komoot.de/tour/253701380 I only added the Malchower See as an extension this time (that's why I stopped the hike again).I like to repeat myself:
Nice and recommendable round trip - delicious fruit fresh from the tree included :-)

Great round trip from S-Blankenburg towards Malchow through allotment gardens, field paths lined with fruit trees, paddocks, meadows and ditches, and even a small lake was on the way. Pure nature in the immediate vicinity of the S-Bahn station!I liked the 2nd allotment garden very much, fairytale signs such as Cinderella, Snow White and Sleeping Beauty Path showed the way and there was also a lot of nature to see here, partly grassy subsoil and wider sandy slopes to walk on.
Those who would like to pick fruit themselves are well served with this tour, yesterday numerous people were out and about equipped with baskets, bags and even fruit baskets to pick apples and pears directly from the trees along the way, some of which are here; In the lower area the fruit trees had already been harvested well, in the upper half, however, there was still a lot to be harvested.
I treated myself to an apple and a pear as a way to eat it, they actually tasted super fresh and delicious! (But whether it has to be that a single person alone fills 4 giant shopping bags to the brim with apples, as seen yesterday - well, I'll leave that uncommented).
I can highly recommend this beautiful round!Unfortunately, this time I have to present this tour to you completely without photos - just yesterday I shot some really great ones, including the low sun shining directly through the autumn treetops; There were wonderful light conditions and as a contrast to the orange shining sun there were interesting and sometimes gloomy cloud constellations in the sky; All around, idyllic shining trees and fields in the progressively fading light of the sunset ...
Well, unfortunately my camera, which had been squirming for weeks, completely gave up the ghost yesterday, or it was apparently due to the memory card, which only said "Error" when transferring the images & so there is unfortunately not enough more to see of the photographic yield, sniff . I actually wanted to go there again today & do the same lap for the purpose of subsequent delivery of photos, but the light could not even keep up today and my motivation was on strike accordingly, so ....Take a look yourself, it's worth it! ;-)

Water-rich circular hike from S-Strausberg city including a small exploration tour through Strausberg's old town.
Since I was traveling with a friend today, I have again exercised restraint when it comes to the illustrations.
Today I keep it short and sweet with the description:
A very beautiful and recommendable route with many riverside paths and great views over the lakes!
I'm always happy to be out here :)

Always fascinating how green it can be, almost in the middle of Berlin!Very nice, varied urban hike today from S-Treptower Park to S-Oberspree, together with Frank Meyer, who worked out this great route and guided us safely from A to B in the best hiking guide style ;-)
komoot.de/tour/251614663The time flew by thanks to the stimulating conversations, which is why I hardly got to take pictures. In short:
Parks, allotment gardens, forests, landscape parks, wall path & green belts, cute residential area & a short walk along the canal - I can highly recommend the tour!

Very nice and varied round tour from BHF Wannsee - many riverside paths & parks worth seeing!
So there are endless photo opportunities on this hike, but also a lot of cyclists and walkers from Babelsberg - I was still pretty much alone on the Teltow Canal.
I've never visited Glienicker Park before, as I discovered today, I really liked it! Unfortunately, most of the paths are currently closed due to the increased risk of branch breakage, so that today was a short detour to the park.
Overall, a very recommendable tour, but you are not on your own.

NSG Löcknitztal: Idyllically beautiful and definitely worth seeing! Especially the section between Löcknitz & Wupatzsee should not be missed. According to the signs "no designated hiking trail / enter at your own risk", there was no danger here, however, and the narrow path between the waters is a real highlight on this hike.
The first half of the tour through the Löcknitztal is really nice, I was reluctant to finally 'say goodbye' to the river and turned into the forest towards Alt-Buchhorst / Grünheide. This 'forest tour' back to Erkner was a bit too extensive for my taste, you could definitely shorten it without missing a lot, or rather continue the hike along the Löcknitz - even if the forest presented itself quite varied from the motorway crossing . (How the path through the Löcknitztal then continues & how attractive this section is, I don't know!).
All in all, a great tour, recommended to hike!

... and again a really nice tour, this very early morning :-) Couldn't sleep after 5, although I did up to 4 things (yes, in the morning, when I'm first active ...) and I did then watch the sunrise from 5.30 am on a short walk through the neighborhood in PrenzlBerg. But it doesn't really rock between the houses ;-) So better get your breakfast & take it to nature, I couldn't make it that early in ages! I love this incredibly fresh forest and meadow air in the morning when the grass is still wet and everything is slowly waking up ...
I'm not going to say again: 'New regular round', I can't do as much as I would like ;-) Still .... Right, really nice and again a very recommendable route!
It was a good thing that I recently put together this really annoying hike, since then I've apparently found everything out there great :-)
So, imitating recommended!
