The St. Johannis Church in Restorf is a small brick hall building on a high fieldstone base under a gable roof with hollow pan roofing with a full hip in the east, a square half-timbered west tower with brick infill under a pyramid roof with hollow pan roofing.

The Protestant church of St. John is a rectangular brick building. The western half-timbered tower dates back to 1847. The core of the masonry and the pointed arched portals on the north and south sides are late Gothic. The conversion to a baroque hall church with pulpit altar took place in 1740.Source:
