At the same time the first station of the Essen-Werden corridor procession since 1720 to the five holy houses. The sanctuary was built in 1721 and destroyed in 1974. A small plaque reminds of the original location. This station was not part of the pilgrimage route of Abbot Theodor Thier (1719-1727) and Monk Stephan Horster. It was built and incorporated sometime later. According to Edith Tekolf's research.
