The municipal government of Temse gives its residents the opportunity to choose the Scheldt as their final resting place. A monument was placed for this purpose. It is based on the prehistoric burial monuments 'dolmen or hunebedden' and gives a contemporary version of a view from this place to the Scheldt as their final resting place. A special place to take a break during the walk.
