If you only want to hike up the Hockstein and not further, you only pay for one hour, this hour is easily enough for a visit. Insider tip: Shortly before the Hockstein, take the turn-off to the right in the direction of Bastei/Rathen, and after about 250m turn left onto the forest path to the Alter Hockstein viewpoint. There you are guaranteed to be undisturbed even at peak times in summer with a great view of the Polenztal.📸🖼️🤳
