About metallic stairs it goes here steeply, but safely down from the Hockstein by the Wolfsschlucht in the direction of the city Hohnstein.

The cave at the Wolfsschlucht - that's why you're here. Great place for big and small or two- and four-legged friends.

It was a staircase, she likes me.
Safe left and right through the rock and no major abyss.

One, two steps the rangers should tighten again. But otherwise this is a very nice way to get directly to the Hockstein.

Since the Wolfsschlucht was the only access to the Hockstein for a long time, this bridge was built in 1821.
Even at this altitude, beauty was valued back then.

The Kraxeln makes a lot of joy. The kicks are safe, even for the less experienced, children enjoy it a lot.

A great gorge on which it goes steeply down into the Polenztal.

A safe but adventurous descent - sometimes narrow but really great.

Not only the bastion has its famous stone bridge. Other rock crevices in Saxon Switzerland are also transferred. That was my highlight today, because we entered this gem off the touristy beaten track.

In every season you have a nice view to the opposite castle in Hohnstein and the Polenztal.

The descent over the steps laid in the rock into the valley is very impressive.

Really beautiful gorge. The lattice stairs can also be done with a dog.

The highlight. A view almost as famous as the bastion. The steps and the scrambling require a little skill, but also make fun for children. There are some people on the road even during the week. Those looking for loneliness, should open up more unknown areas.

An adventurous descent over narrow stairs narrow between the rocks. Very worthwhile.

Very narrow passage with great light defects in the correct sunlight.
You should be sure-footed as there are very narrow steps and it is really tight in places.

Very nice highlight! Not too crowded like the bastion - only a small refuge on the summit and several viewpoints.

A great viewpoint. The descent through the breathtaking Wolf Canyon into the Polenztal should not be missed. Then the hike could then lead through the beautiful Polenztal to the fire and back over the bear catch at Hohnstein and down to the inn Polental back again.
