About metallic stairs it goes here steeply, but safely down from the Hockstein by the Wolfsschlucht in the direction of the city Hohnstein.

It was a staircase, she likes me.
Safe left and right through the rock and no major abyss.

One, two steps the rangers should tighten again. But otherwise this is a very nice way to get directly to the Hockstein.

The cave at the Wolfsschlucht - that's why you're here. Great place for big and small or two- and four-legged friends.

The Kraxeln makes a lot of joy. The kicks are safe, even for the less experienced, children enjoy it a lot.

A great gorge on which it goes steeply down into the Polenztal.

A safe but adventurous descent - sometimes narrow but really great.

An adventurous descent over narrow stairs narrow between the rocks. Very worthwhile.

Very narrow passage with great light defects in the correct sunlight.
You should be sure-footed as there are very narrow steps and it is really tight in places.

Really beautiful gorge. The lattice stairs can also be done with a dog.

The Wolfsschlucht - a small highlight in the Saxon Switzerland.
Great location and lots to explore.
Due to the interesting name and its history, one can also encourage children to come here or join in the hike.

Very nice circular walk. First step scrambling, downhill. Great experience. Sometimes the levels are easy, but not so that you get a bad feeling. Narrow passages are definitely a highlight for children. Then through the beautiful Polenztal. Just breathtaking. Then again over a few steps direction Rathen. Half way up the ascent to the bastion we were annoyed by a self-proclaimed singer. Three valleys further but also this was no longer heard and the chirping of birds came back to our ears. Past the picturesque Amselsee back to the starting point. Can only recommend this loop to anyone.

The hike from Hohnstein down to the Polenztal was especially beautiful. When it rains, it's a bit slippery. The restaurant "Polenztal" is only open from 15:00 (labor shortage !?). The ascent to the Hockstein requires some effort, but you will be rewarded with the Wolfsschlucht. It's getting tight - oncoming traffic has no change. Safe and exciting for children.

Follow a piece of the famous Mahlerweg and be surprised by a very great route. One should look at the tour but in advance and think carefully about where to park. Not suitable is the tour for old people and for people who need a walker to handle it many steps.

A very worth seeing gorge, now and then dark spots, but that only makes it more exciting.

The Wolfsschlucht is worthwhile due to the view and the interesting rock constructions.
Due to the narrow steep stairs, I would recommend the up and down only physically fit semi-fit people who no child, no dog or similar. have to have and / or wear.

Iron staircase through deep, narrow crevice with a natural "gothic pointed arch" at the entrance.
