The Branstbos is still in full development. In two phases, more than 15,000 trees have been planted, from summer oaks, rough birches and willows to hornbeams, smooth elms and winter limes. In addition, various types of shrubs have been planted on the edge of the forest, around the walking path: wild rowan, aspen, single-style hawthorn, European bird cherry, dog rose, gorse, blackthorn and Gelderse rose.
This promises to become a beautiful area in about ten years. What's more: it's already worth it.
