Beautiful view of the forests around Bad Berneck! 🥰
August 23, 2020
The Engelsburg viewpoint was named after the royal forensic doctor Dr. Named angel. With great enthusiasm he devoted himself to embellishing viewpoints and planting and planting terraces on the Schlossberg.
There was never a castle at this point, but you can still enjoy a wonderful view over the Ölschnitztal, which turns out to be particularly colorful here in autumn, over to the Stein castle chapel.

From here you have a beautiful view of the valley.

So in summer you don't really have a nice view, the pictures of the autumn colors were great, it's definitely worth it.
Of course, things can be completely different without leaves.

Very nice view and distant view, you should definitely take this into account when planning. However, the path from there down to the Ölschnitz is in relatively poor condition (1/23), former wooden stairs are partially rotted, trees lie across, so only recommended with good shoes and sure-footedness, under no circumstances e.g. with a pram.
