The Main-Mies-Weg (80 km) connects the Rotmainquelle in the Franconian town of Lindenhardt with the headwaters of the Mies in the Upper Palatinate. It is probably one of the least traveled long-distance hiking trails. Highlight junkies won't get their money's worth here. Just landscape, flora and fauna and (almost) no bipeds.
At first, because of the cold, in barefoot shoes, but the floor surface temperature was more pleasant than expected. Barefoot rate 95%.
