The big name stone of this spring is NOT a knight's stone! The Ritterstein is a few steps further, on the other side of the hiking trail:
komoot.com/de-de/highlight/4152199Great Kneipp option in the ice-cold (!) water. There is also a rest bench here.
A few steps further away (in the direction of St. John's Cross) there is also a (rather hidden) seating area.
The Moosalbe flows into the Schwarzbach, which flows into the Blies (Blies -> Saar -> Moselle -> Rhine).

The water from the Moosalbquelle is drinking water. A bank is right at the source, there is a picnic area about 15 meters away.

Source of the approx. 26 km long moss ointment, which flows into the Schwarzbach at Waldfischbach-Burgalben and the most famous section of which is probably the Karlstal Gorge between Oberhammer and Mittelhammer.
