The major shareholder was Engelhardt-Brauerei AG, Berlin. In 2003, Köthener Brauerei GmbH, which emerged from the former Köthen brewery in 1992, moved from the historic walls to a modern, newly built logistics center. In addition to the Köthener and Hubertus range, the Köthener brewery also sells the new Köthener Brauhaus Premium Pils.
