Hiking
Sanjingosaiden is the new name given to the once Buddhist temple called Jakkoji. It is now where the Dewa Sanzan shrine has established its office and enshrines the three gods of the Dewa Sanzan mountains, making it the main place of faith during winter, when Mt. Gassan and Mt. Yudono are not accessible because of the heavy snowfalls.
