This is the most common place to start hiking Mt. Gassan after Mt. Haguro.
The place features a parking lot (crowded in July/August), a cafeteria/souvenir shop, toilet, and vending machines. Please not that the shop, toilet and vending machines closes soon after the shrine closes its gates on September 15th.
