    Mt. Gassan, a part of the National Park of Bandai-Asahi, is also a National Natural Monument itself, for the 130 species of flowers that the hikers can encounter from July to September.
    Among the flowers you can encounter along the way, there are: Hemerocallis esculenta, Campanula chamissonis, Sanguisorba albiflora, Drosera rotundifolia (carnivorous plant), and many more.
