The pearl of the Saaletal, that's what it's called. The Leuchtenburg is picturesquely and stately above Kahla. From here you have a wonderful view up the Saale valley towards Rudolstadt and the Saale down towards Jena. One can argue about the meaning and aesthetics of the cultivation, I myself think it doesn't really fit into the Middle Ages.
