Die Knöpfelsteiche

After the ascent through the dragon gorge to the high sun one is at this way point almost again in the valley. There is a nice rest area waiting here.

The three ponds are picturesquely embedded in the sunny forest clearing with the small chestnut avenue and offer some nice resting places.

The Knöpfelsteiche, also a natural attraction in Eisenach.

A very nice place to rest on the Knöpfel ponds and enjoy nature to the fullest.
