Wir sind Monika & Richard und wenn es unsere Zeit zulässt, gehen wir gerne wandern. Das wandern bereitet uns sehr viel Freude und ganz nebenbei, tun wir dabei noch etwas für unsere Gesundheit.

Since thunderstorms were announced for today in the Allgäu, we decided not to go on a longer mountain tour.
Instead we went to the Iberger Kugel and Riedholzer Kugel at Maierhöfen. On the way back we wanted to stop at the Butterblume alpine inn. However, this had already ceased operations for this year

For today there was a mountain tour. We took the Hochgratbergbahn to the mountain station. The path we chose was the "Premium hiking trail Luftiger Grat"
On the Nagelflukette to the west to the Einegutkopf, descent via the Falkenhütte and the "Alte Trees" path to the valley station. Our conclusion:
That was a breathtaking tour but with some alpine sections. 🤩

Today's tour took us to Bad Wurzach in one of the largest intact raised bog areas in Europe.
The tour went over forest and root paths as well as beautiful wide wooden walkways. Today was a nice contrast to yesterday's mountain tour. Our conclusion:
An easily walkable tour that we can recommend without hesitation. You should only think of mosquito repellent

Today we did the "Hörnertour" from Bolsterlang to Ofterschwang. The route wasn't that long now, but it was exhausting. Mostly it was on narrow paths / paths that were not only used by hikers, the cows also had their fun.
Often it was root paths, narrow mountain paths that were littered with stony obstacles. The descent from Rangiswanger Horn was particularly tricky, a descent through scree and deep furrows.
The Sigiswanger Horn cannot be crossed, there is only a path up that you have to go down again. There is no foresight there, the mountain top is overgrown with firs / spruces.
On the Ofterschwanger Horn we chose the direct route to the summit. The serpentine path was made of gravel stones, that was not nice to walk.
A worthwhile tour that includes everything we like. Far-sightedness Narrow paths and root paths ... 🤩

Today we made a relaxed tour to the Rhine delta on Lake Constance. Our tour took us through a bird sanctuary. We were given wonderful pictures in a great water world. We copied the original tour from Komootler Caro. She had previously been able to take wonderful pictures during the bird breeding season.
