If you want to shorten from the Sandbrinkweg to the Upper Königsberger Loipe, you can officially do so at this point. This approx. 150 m long path is also signposted on both sides.

Unfortunately, the wooden bridge was destroyed in January 2021, probably by floods and driftwood.
You can still cross the Kalte Bode - as long as it doesn't carry too much water.
In January 2021 that was only a small step with high snowfall. (see pictures)
