The Uniklinik RWTH Aachen (University Clinic Aachen (AöR) is the university clinic of RWTH Aachen University. It is located in one of the largest hospital buildings in Europe in the west of Aachen in the Laurensberg district, in the immediate vicinity of Vaals in the Netherlands. Around 7,000 employees in 36 specialist clinics and 25 Institutes (including six with health care tasks) cared for a total of around 50,000 inpatients and 200,000 outpatients in 2017.
