CH - Alps - Berner Oberland - Kiental - Griesalp, Gamchi glacier
With rain forecasts in Adelboden, we decided to head out to Kiental. We were absolutely stunned by the beauty of the untouched nature of this valley with it’s many waterfalls, sloping green pastures against the backdrop of the most stunning capricious rock faces and deep gorges eroded by the Gamchi glacier.

CH - Alps - Berner Oberland - Via ferrata Mürren, Tanzbödeli, Stechelberg
The via ferrata Mürren had been on my wishlist for quite some time; unfortunately this ferrata is very hyped but not too enjoyable if you’re more experienced. For beginners though, I think this ferrata is plenty of fun and has some nice sections to offer. As we completed the ferrata much earlier than expected we decided to descend from Gimmelwald and head up to Tanzbödeli; our most favorite section of Lauterbrunnen valley. It’s quite a steep climb but the views of the surrounding mountains more than make up for it :)

CH - Alps - Berner Oberland - Via ferrata Allmenalp
Marked as K4, this ferrata is definitely not for the faint-hearted as it will take you high up along the waterfalls and cliffs of the Allmenalp. This ferrata has a nice variation in climbs and is technically not too difficult, but the elevation in combination with the duration (about 2,5 hours), and in our case slipperiness due to rainfall, the route can still be quite challenging. Also make sure you’re familiar with crossing rope bridges :) A very nice ferrata with stunning views on the waterfall and the Kander valley with its snowy mountain peaks.
