You will find the Stadsschouwburg at Keizerstraat 3. This was originally the 15th century reception hall that was once part of the extensive palace of Margaret of York (1446-1503). The current interior dates almost entirely from 1917-1919, when the hall was redecorated in a neorégence-neorocco style after a bomb attack.

The characteristic building has a cozy podium hall on the ground floor and a foyer on the first floor. The location is ideal for concerts, theater performances, dance performances, plenary sessions and lectures.
