This roundabout is called the "first roundabout" again, after it had been called the "Mohrenrondell" for a long time. The name "Mohrenrondell" was established in the 20th century, like the Mohren-Apotheke or Mohrenstraße elsewhere. In a country where everyone wants to please everyone, they call it the First Rondell and shamefully cover up the naked breasts of one of the busts (compare pictures 7 and 9).
A few meters further on in the kidnapping roundabout, however, you can find lots of "naked breasts" as in other places. These are historical and not sexist, however. Everyone should think for themselves... 🤔.
