This monument stands at the Lebuinuskerk/Grote Kerk.

Wikipedia writes about this:

"The Resistance Monument on the Grote Kerkhof in Deventer is a memorial honoring the Dutch resistance during World War II.

Soon after the liberation in 1945 there were plans to erect a resistance memorial in Deventer. A collection among the population raised what was then an impressive sum of 27,000 guilders. The memorial was created by Dirk Wolbers and consists of a bronze statue of a resistance fighter on a high stone pedestal. The man stands upright with clenched fists as a symbol of strength and aloofness. The base reads "Resistance 1940 - 1945".

The memorial was unveiled on May 3, 1953. Until 1957 the monument stood in the square in front of the tower of the Lebuïnuskerk. That year it was moved to the south aisle of the church. On the church wall there is a text in metal letters:

By their death they have us

given more

than many years

could give us.

Every year on National Day of Remembrance a wreath is laid at the Resistance Monument.
