From the church you have great views up to the Frankenstein castle ruins!

"First mention of church life in Frankenstein in the 13th century, construction of the castle with the castle chapel still visible today. 1722 (probably) first church built on the current site. 1871/72 Construction of the current sandstone church." Batik triptych by artist Ilse Benninger [from 1976, behind the altar]: Sun, ears of corn and grapes represent creation and the Last Supper. 2015 Installation of the first art glass window 'Perspectives for Peace' (= so-called 'Peace Window'. To the left of the church are the memorials for the victims of the two world wars. - To the right of the church is a monument (from 1821) for Friedrich Graf von Einsiedel (February 29, 1772 - November 30, 1793), who fell in the French Revolutionary Wars in the Battle of Kaiserslautern in 1793.

This church is just beautifully situated. Also a great sight from the castle.
