The Saarn cemetery is a sober, drafty and treeless place that we soon leave in the direction of Saarn Monastery.
And neither of us have been here before, as we can assure ourselves.
Let us sit down for vespers in the lee of St. Mary's Assumption despite the threatening cloud mountains.
Don't visit the monastery because of the daily kilometers still to come; But we'll certainly do it again, as the outer monastery gardens have a very charming character that makes you curious.
