Here at the Jägerhaus you have the opportunity to cross the Danube on the stones (the jetty no longer exists!) - at least in summer when it is very dry. No chance today - current too strong - I couldn't even begin to discover the stones. Today I am 3 km back to Beuron to cross the Danube there - so be careful when planning your tour!

In spring it was not possible to cross the Danube here due to strong currents and high water. Now in midsummer you are spoiled for choice. Either wade through or walk over the ashlars with dry feet.
