The small village of Jasebeck is located directly on the Elbe dike, on which the Elbe Cycle Path also runs. The Jasebeck manor is worth seeing, as is the beautiful meadow landscape between the Elbe dike and the banks of the Elbe. The many bracks that are located here between the Elbe dike and the banks of the Elbe are a paradise for birds and wild animals. You can observe many different species of birds here, but also deer, beavers, foxes, hares and other wild animals.
Near the manor house there is also a dirt road from the dike to the banks of the Elbe. The path is very bumpy, but at the end of the path you reach a beautiful spot on the banks of the Elbe, with a sandy beach. I like to come here to e.g. To photograph sunrises and sunsets, or to photograph the starry sky at night, but also to enjoy the peace and quiet and beautiful nature.
