Damnatz is a very pretty, small village on the south bank of the Elbe. The Elbe cycle path also leads through the village. A very nice place to take a break while on a bike ride. There are beautiful Elbe beaches here and you can watch birds of prey (e.g. white-tailed eagles, red mackerel and buzzards) and other bird species very well.

Nice place for a break, e.g. during a bike tour on the Elbe Cycle Path, with a great view of the Elbe. There are two benches and a staircase that leads from the Elbe dike down to the banks of the Elbe. Also a great location for taking photos, because of the relatively low light pollution you can also take good photos of stars here.

Damnatz is a beautiful village on the Elbe and, in addition to the half-timbered church, it has the sculpture garden of the artist couple Monika Müller-Klug and Klaus Müller-Klug.
