In the Hitzacker-Wittenberge section, nature and history embedded in the UNESCO biosphere reserve "River Landscape Elbe" offer an interesting tour section on the Elbe Cycle Path. The silence between the places and the colorful fauna with storks, cranes, beavers and sheep give an idea of the originality of the landscape. Flocks of birds dominate the scene in spring and autumn.
The Damnatzer Elbbogen is a very exciting place to experience the Elbe and to unwind.
