For the first 20 km, we had a strong headwind and were glad to have e-bikes. There was a lot going on at the Große Höhe glider airfield. There was even a three-masted barque from Oman in the harbor.



The journey there took us along good bike paths, through lush greenery, and far from the roads. The sun was shining brightly, a little too brightly.

Cuxhaven has unfortunately lost its charm during peak season.



In the Duhner Heide, it became much quieter, and we were able to sit on a bench and gaze out over the mudflats, enjoying the endless expanse.

The Kirchwalsede hunting association invited us to a "Wild Cycling" tour along the Wümme River. The finale was a game buffet in Unterstedt.
