I had an appointment in Bremen and during rush hour I cycled directly, i.e. mostly parallel to the main streets. This variant was the shorter and, in my mind, the fastest. But far from it.Due to 2 full closures that share a diversion route, as well as the single-lane "expressway B 75", it was the traffic chaos par excellence. An enormous number of 🚲🚲🚲🚲, paired with long RED traffic light phases for the 🚴‍♂️🚶‍♀️, ensured that there was also chaos in the waiting areas.
The completion of chaos for 🚶‍♀️🚶‍♂️🚴‍♂️🚴‍♀️🛴🚘found on the Wilh. Kaisen Bridge instead of 😡
The cars were in a mega-jam because the Green Environment / Transport Senator Schäfer has new projects again - the environment / inner city for love. Your ideas are unfathomable 🤔. Cyclists drove all over the place 🙈. Conclusion: avoid the city center! Both as 🚶‍♀️, as 🚴‍♀️ and also as 🚘. The traffic turnaround is different.
To get to Schwachhausen, the beautiful Bürgerpark or the Waldbühne, take the somewhat longer path over the Ochtumniederung and Stephaniebrücke, along the Weser, through the ramparts to the bicycle road to Schwachhausen 😊.The rest in the Waldbühne and the way back with the slowly sinking 🌞 provided compensation.I failed to record the way there, so only the way back.

Finally another harvest festival. We accompanied the procession through the village with the fantastically decorated wagons. The Hepstedter had festively and imaginatively decorated the properties that the parade passed. The weather was perfect and so the patio furniture was brought to the street and the families met there for a coffee table and could admire the move.An unforgettable experience.

So that our Rumo had his movement and we can later go to the harvest parade, a little 🚲🚲🐕 round to Ostereistedt to Eckes Hus. It is the oldest farmhouse in the Rotenburg / Wümme district. We went back to the forest campsite at the Ummelbad in Hepstedt via bathing mills and the Ummel.

When we are at the campsite, Rumo 🐕 doesn’t give up until we’ve done at least a little lap 🚲🚲🐕 through the Ummel 🙈.However, it is also fun and clears the mind. A very nice area.

To the feeding places of the cranes in the Havelaue, on to the Garz lock and the needle weir. There is even a kind of umbrella with nesting aids for swallows. On a meadow path that does not exist on Komoot, we passed a swimming area in the Havel. The 🐕 who discovered her first. So clothes off, into pleasure, nice swim, clothes on again and on we went.
The part of the Kamern Mountains is only partially suitable for touring bikes. We have trekking e-bikes and still had to push a little bit because the sand was so fine and deep that we no longer had any traction.
It thundered suspiciously in the distance and we were afraid that we would not make it to the campsite - but everything went well. Was a very nice tour.

Today it's too hot to ride our 🐕 bike. So just drive to Arneburg to visit this beautiful old city with Skywalk. The many e-bike charging stations in the towns and villages are remarkable. Lower Saxony and Bremen can "cut slices" from each other.

After yesterday's exhausting tour to Wittenberge, today a short tour along the Elbe and to quarry ponds with swimming opportunities for our brave racing roll 🐕🤗.
The way back was via 🏰 Zorien. It was here that Theodor Fontane wrote the novel and around Effi Briest. It is the house where Elisabeth von Ardenne was born. Unlike in the novel, Elisabeth did not kill herself, but faced life. She learned to ski in old age and to ride a bike when she was 80 years old. She died on February 5th, 1952 at the age of 99.
Today you could also read the sundial, compare the time of the e-bike (summer time).
