Mountain open to the public since summer 2021. With currently approx. 39.5 m above sea level, the highest point in the state of Bremen. (excluding towers, cathedral, high-rise buildings, etc.) 😉
For runners who want to use the mountain for training:
At the foot of the mountain (parking lot) you start at approx. 9 m above sea level, at the top of the Metalhenge you are at approx. 39.5 m above sea level.
The length of the route is approx. 1.2 km if you walk over the serpentines.

Since 2021, a monumental work of art has stood on the disused part of the Blockland landfill, which not only serves as a viewing platform for visitors to see Bremen and the surrounding area, but also offers them a connection between the earthly and the cosmic as well as the past and the future, in reference to the English Stonehenge.
