Construction: The current town hall was built between 1878 and 1879. It is the fourth town hall in Vejle, built on the site of a former medieval monastery.
Architecture: Designed by architect Carl Lendorf in neo-Gothic style, the building features distinctive architectural elements typical of the period.
Historical significance: The town hall bell that rings daily is the same bell that once called the monks to mass in the medieval monastery.
