Langsam geht es wieder heimwärts auf unserem Road Trip und dabei gab es heute einen Stop in Luxemburg. Die Stadterkundung des UNESCO Weltkulturerbes hat Spaß gemacht und führte mich durch die Luxemburger Altstadt, den Bockfelsen, die Bock-Kasematten und in das Viertel Grund. Beste Entdeckung auf der Tour war ein etwas versteckter, öffentlicher Aufzug mit dem man kostenlos von Grund nach oben in die Altstadt fahren konnte.

Sehr viel aufgeräumter, sauberer und weniger quirlig. Die Kathedrale ist sehr beeindruckend und die Innenstadt lässt sich bequem bei einem Spaziergang erkunden.

Heute hat es leider nur zu einer kleinen Tour in Lille gereicht. Die Altstadt ist sehr schön und herausgeputzt. Wenn man etwas mehr in die Aussenbezirke vorstösst ändert sich dieses Bild ein wenig. Dennoch lohnt ein Stop für ein bisschen Sightseeing und einen guten Café.

Heute stand eine Erkundungstour in Brügge an. Da das Wetter morgens schlecht war ging es erst mittags los und später kam dann noch die Sonne raus. Brügge ist zurecht UNESCO Weltkulturerbe und hat viele charmante Ecken. Im Zentrum war es uns aber deutlich zu voll und daher haben wir unseren Spaziergang an den etwas ruhigeren Ecken fortgesetzt.

Today we continued our trip to Belgium and visited the beautiful city of Ghent. The city is beautiful and charming with a lot of old houses, churches and a lot of nice buildings to discover. Can highly recommend a visit.

Our road trip continues and we moved onto The Hague today. The city has a different vibe and is much more relaxed compared to Amsterdam. We had a nice lunch and walked through the city before heading out to our hotel by the sea.

Today was a full day off sightseeing in Amsterdem. We started around noon at the Rijsmuseum and continued from there to the city centre with many popular places, museums, restaurants and shops along the way. Weather was good and it was a little crowded here and there, which is why we are finally tired at the end of this day.
Fredericia is a wonderful city
