Here is the "Liebig Pharmacy", formerly the Pirsch Pharmacy, where Justus von Liebig completed ten months of his apprenticeship in 1817/18. He became famous as a chemist for the invention of meat extract, mineral fertilizer and baking powder, among other things. The house was built in 1708 on the ground floor remains of an inn built in 1577.
