According to persistent rumors that claim that in the beginning of WW1, this 'Diver' would have been used to smuggle people to the Netherlands. Although there is no conclusive evidence for this, it cannot be ruled out either. However, it is certain that she and others were smuggled to the Netherlands via Boekhoute.
