Tips
The basalt quarries on the Grosser Gleichberg have left their mark on the landscape. The technical facilities have largely disappeared (there were even cable cars for transporting the material at one time), only the edges of the quarry and open-cast mining areas remain. Over the decades, bush encroachment and reforestation have progressed significantly.
