Very nice bridge railing that I have rarely seen. Great photo opportunity.

Very nice bridge with railings worth seeing. The people in charge thought about the design. Top!

Beautifully constructed rustic bridge across the Hoëgne river.
          The bridge railing is striking.

This pedestrian culvert was built in 1930 to mark the 100th anniversary of independence. It spans the Hoëgne and is adorned with a typical balustrade of entangled wood.

In the immediate vicinity of the bridge there is a parking lot. So you can start your tours well here.

I was at this place again. This time it was not littered.
I have to admit that this place was littered a month ago.
Unfortunately, a storm had previously blown over the trash can and distributed the trash.
Maybe it would be better not to put a trash can there.

That's right Rotola. Unfortunately, I did not take any pictures. Here are two tables with benches. In addition, the feet can be cooled in shallow water. And the parking is only a few meters away.

We chose this place as the starting point for our walk along the Hoëgne. Early in the morning the parking lot was completely empty. The Pont du Centenaire used to be a simple iron walkway (built in 1869). This was called Pont de la Vecquée at the time. Rebuilt in concrete in 1920, it was officially inaugurated in 1930 as the Pont du Centenaire, on the 100th anniversary of Belgium's independence.
