The Sawe, a Venn mountain stream, has its source in the Grande Fagne, near the place “Les Fermes en Fagnes”. It meanders for 6 km with interesting inclines before reaching the site downstream from Solwaster. Soon afterwards they connect at the Hoëgne. Like her big sisters, she has her share of local stories. For example, we discover a cross erected in memory of Marcel Dethiou, a hunter who died here in 1920. You will also find “the pedestrian bridge of Dianes Bad” on your way. It is said that Diane, one of the cow dogs from a neighboring farm, was wounded by a hunter. He was found in the sawe.
