The foundation of the village church of Heinersdorf is dated to the second half of the 13th century. It was mainly built of field stones and later plastered. The curved dome with the wooden lantern crowning the bell tower is very beautiful. Inside you will find a pulpit altar from the beginning of the 18th century and a Sauer organ from 1911.

The core of the building was built in the second half of the 13th century under the influence of the Knights Templar. In the 14th or 15th century, craftsmen erected the west tower and thus expanded the church to a complete structure.
