Zietsch Spring in the Bad Steben Spa Park

The name "Zietsch Fountain" is intended to commemorate the former Bavarian Finance Minister Friedrich Zietsch, who was deeply committed to Bad Steben after World War II. Anyone can tap the healing water here free of charge. Those wishing to drink one of the two different types of water should bring a glass or bottle. The medicinal benefits of each are described.

The freely accessible fountain house is based on an agreement in the 1832 punctuation, which was drawn up for the sale of the healing springs to the Kingdom of Bavaria.
