The grand cherry blossom finale takes place around early to mid-April on Heerstrasse and Breite Strasse. There are 60 Japanese cherry blossom trees (Prunus serrulata 'Kanzan') in each of these areas. This cherry variety is famous for its particularly lush, vibrant pink blossoms. Thanks to their funnel-shaped crowns, the branches close above the street to form a pink canopy, creating a dreamy cherry blossom tunnel.Heerstrasse and Breite Strasse resemble veritable cherry blossom tunnels.Extensive information at:bonn.de/bonn-erleben/besichtigen-entdecken/kirschbluete.php#&gid=1&pid=2

Bonn's old town during the cherry blossom season is really worth a visit - unfortunately no longer an insider tip.

🌸Wonderful stroll under the cherry blossom trees 🌸
Great photo opportunities 🎨📸.
Unfortunately only possible in April.
Can get busy on sunny days/weekends.
It's best to go during the week, early in the morning, to be able to enjoy everything in peace.🌸🎨
Plus great, well-kept facades 🎨👍🏻.
