The Quitzow village church is a church building that was built in three construction phases. The nave also dates from the second half of the 13th century and was probably built under the patronage of Berthold von Quitzow, mentioned in a document in 1271. The church tower was built in the last major construction phase around 1500, presumably under Hans von Platen. The corners and the surrounds of the tower masonry are made of brick in monastery format, whereas the tower is made of field stone masonry.
