Beautiful mill in the middle of this beautiful 6.5 km route where dogs can run free.

This mill on the Zeddamseweg in 's-Heerenberg was purchased in 1912 by J.H. van Heek. He wanted to restore the goods and rights of the castle and estate, which he had also just purchased.

In 2008, the mill was once again fully owned by Stichting Huis Bergh. Because the roof, masonry and beams were in poor condition, Huis Bergh decided to carry out a large-scale restoration in 2016. The construction work has now been completed and the mill was delivered on 23 November 2018.

An Open Monument Day has been organised since 1987. Monuments that are normally closed to the public are opened free of charge, in order to increase public interest in monuments and support for monument care.
