Adendorf Castle is a former noble residence on the southern edge of Adendorf, a district of Wachtberg in North Rhine-Westphalia. Nearby are the castle Münchhausen and the castle Gudenau. Although the name suggests otherwise, it is not a castle Adendorf, but a moated castle, which is why the name of the castle Adendorf is common. It is listed as an architectural monument and is one of the best preserved moated castle in the Rhein-Sieg district. Source and further information: de.wikipedia.org/wiki/Burg_Adendorf
