The monument already inspires awe. Although I am not a Christian, I have a great deal of respect for these men.
Coming from Schmochtitz (Bautzen) on the Uhna-Loga connecting road. The monument symbolizes the spread of the Christian message. Cyril and Methodius
are shown who did missionary work in the Great Moravian Empire from 863 to 885. As a sign of their happy proclamation and the spread of the faith in Lusatia, crosses “thrive” out of the ground on the area. The complex invites you to linger and is created for devotions, festivals and church services. Can be visited all year round. As a "stop" on the way from Bautzen to Kamenz
