In Eschelbronn's center there are buildings worth seeing around a square and the carpenter's fountain, which points to Eschelbronn's tradition as a carpenter's village.

On the square there is the town hall built in 1838 with a high water mark from 1994, the evangelical church from 1811 and the old vicarage from 1783 with the coat of arms of the builder Carl Philipp von Venningen. The second (alliance) coat of arms is red with gold diagonal bars and comes from Carl Philipp's wife Maria Anna von Hutten.

Eschelbronn has been allowed to bear the nickname Schreinerdorf with the permission of the state since 2022.

As a small village dominated by agriculture, Eschelbronn hardly offered sufficient earning opportunities for craftsmen in the 18th and 19th centuries. It owes its origins as a carpenter's village partly to coincidence, but also partly to the courage, imagination and ability of its inhabitants to recognize and implement new possibilities....

Further extensive explanations on the way to the carpenter's village can be found on the community website.
